ELEMENTAL RAGE

Elementals of light can fall victim to what is known as elemental rage.  Elemental rage occurs when an elemental losses control of their light-based magic by allowing dark-based energies of fear, anger, and rage, to build and flow through them instead.  The result is always a lethal burst of magic for anyone around them. If already depleted in magic this burst could also kill the caster. Once taken over by rage Elementals loose themselves to their emotions and need someone to interrupt them quickly. This is a deadly choice to make. It is safter to get away from the Elemental then attempt to stop them.

The idea of elemental rage comes from our own conflicts as humans. We too can lose ourselves to our emotions and lash out in destructive ways to others.
